Leah Moody – DVM
Leah Moody, DVM is originally from Alabama and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Alabama. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University in 2018. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at Iowa State University and an ophthalmology internship at the University of Georgia. Dr. Moody completed her residency in comparative ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee in 2023.
Dr. Moody’s clinical interests include ocular pain control/anesthesia and emergency ophthalmic surgery. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends, hiking, mountain biking, cooking, and throwing frisbee for her high-energy heeler named Hazel. Dr. Moody is excited to join the team at The Animal Eye Doctor!
