Anthony Lisankis, DVM, DACVO

Dr. Anthony Lisankis is from Southern California. He spent five years in the US Army prior to becoming a veterinarian. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in Ames, IA. Following graduation, Dr. Lisankis reentered the US Army as a Veterinary Corps Officer where he completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Fort Bragg, NC. He then spent the next three years as the Post Veterinarian for Naval Station Great Lakes outside of Chicago, IL providing care for Working Dogs and preventive medicine for the Post. Dr. Lisankis completed a three-year residency in ophthalmology with Eye Care for Animals and went on to become a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in that same year. He sees patients at the York Rd. practice in Cockeysville, MD.
