Dr. Ronald Sigler named Veterinarian of the Year

Dr Sigler Veterinarian of the Year

Congratulations to Dr. Sigler who was named 2015 Veterinarian of the Year by the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and recently received a plaque recognizing him at an inaugural/awards ceremony held at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) in Phoenix. This award of distinction was presented because of Dr. Sigler’s generously contributed time and energy to the advancement of the AZVMA, the veterinary profession and the community for at least 25 years. Factors to be considered for this award are professional success, service to the profession, community participation, professional knowledge and exemplary citizenship. Dr. Sigler was nominated by his peers and colleagues in the veterinary community and surrounding area.

The AZVMA states the following in their June Newsletter:

Dr. Sigler is an example of commitment to the profession of veterinary medicine and has demonstrated that by participating in his professional community. He served as President of the Central Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and made it his mission to advance the notion that veterinarians have a responsibility to protect and to move the profession forward. He always believed in hard work and dedication to accomplishment and opened the first veterinary eye clinic in the State of Arizona.”
