Dr. Anna-Michelle Armour attended Colby College in Maine, where she received her bachelor of arts degree in Biology and Performing Arts. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Dr. Armour joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 2008.
Dr. Melanie Landry Church attended The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she graduated with honors and earned her bachelor of science degree in biology. Prior to veterinary school, she worked in a small animal clinic and volunteered at The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher as well as the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. Melanie received her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. She then completed a private practice internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta. Dr. Church joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 2009.
Dr. Jason Clark received his bachelor of science degree in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College and his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He spent two years in a mixed animal practice, followed by four years at a small animal practice in Louisville, Kentucky. He then began two years of emergency medicine practice while participating in an ophthalmology internship with Veterinary Eye Care in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Clark joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 2007.
Dr. Paige Evans received her bachelor of science degree in Biology from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California prior to attending veterinary school at Ross University, where she received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. After completing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Animal Specialty Group in Glendale, California, Dr. Evans worked in small animal general practice for four years in Los Angeles, California. She then pursued a specialty internship in ophthalmology where her time was split working in ophthalmic pharmacology and drug discovery in Irvine, California and working as an intern for the Culver City and Pasadena locations for Eye Care for Animals. Dr. Evans joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 2008.
Dr. Erin Gunderson received a bachelor of science degree in biology in 2001 and a doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, both at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, also at the University of Saskatchewan. After, she spent a year in small animal general practice in Edmonton, Alberta for one year. She then completed an ophthalmology clerkship with Eye Care for Animals in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Gunderson joined the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 2009.
