Gavin Kennard, DVM, DACVO
Dr. Kennard graduated with distinction from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where he received the Schering-Plough Award for Excellence in Veterinary Ophthalmology and The American College of Veterinary Surgeons Student Surgery Award for Excellence in Small Animal Surgery. After graduation, Dr. Kennard completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He then completed a three-year residency program in Phoenix, Arizona with Eye Care for Animals, after which he became a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist. Dr. Kennard has a special interest in eyelid reconstructive surgery, corneal surgery and glaucoma surgery.
