Dr. Steve Sisler, DVM, DACVO – Vitreoretinal Surgeon

Dr. Sisler graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Veterinary School. He spent five years as an emergency veterinarian in Fort Wayne IN, at a multi-referral hospital before joining the residency program at Eye Care for Animals in 2002. He became a board certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists is 2004 and a retinal specialist while serving the Greater Chicagoland area.  Dr. Sisler left Eye Care for Animals in 2015 to take his family to Kenya.  He and his family returned to the US and Chicago area in 2020, where he served as a relief doctor before relocating to Greater Kansas City as the full time doctor at Eye Care for Animals – Lee’s Summit in January, 2021.
