Daniel Binder, DVM, Ph.D., DACVO

Dr. Binder is originally from Long Island, NY. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychobiology from Binghamton University, NY (SUNY). He then completed a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. Dr. Binder pursued his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and completed his residency in Ophthalmology there as well. He previously worked as an intern in small animal surgery and medicine at North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

In 2011, Dr. Binder offered his knowledge and experience at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine as a clinical instructor of ophthalmology in the Department of Small Animal Clinical and helped develop the department’s auxiliary ophthalmology service. He is board certified with the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. After practicing for two years in Annapolis, MD, he joined Eye Care for Animals-Warwick in early 2015.
