B. Keith Collins, DVM, MS, DACVO

Dr. Collins received his veterinary degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. He then pursued an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. Dr. Collins completed his ophthalmology residency and earned his masters degree at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 1988. In the same year, he joined the faculty at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. In 1994, Dr. Collins was promoted to Associate Professor and received the prestigious Norden Distinguished Teacher Award. In 1996, he moved to the Milwaukee area and opened his own practice as Animal Eye Specialists. In 2008, Dr. Collins merged his practice with Eye Care for Animals – Pewaukee.  He continued working at the practice for over 10 years, and he also served as a mentor to many residents.  He currently does relief work for Eye Care for Animals.
