Annora Sheehan Gaerig, DVM, MPH, DACVO
Dr. Gaerig received a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from Michigan State University (MSU) in 2004, spending her last semester in Northern Ireland focused on equine studies. She then went back to East Lansing to complete a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, where she developed an interest in small animal and equine ophthalmology. She then completed an internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro, NC in 2010 and residency in ophthalmology at Eye Care for Animals in 2013. Dr. Gaerig also has an interest in veterinary public health and completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Minnesota in 2014.
