First of all, I want to thank those [Pebblecreek] residents that highly recommended Dr. Norman for my dog, Jake's, eye surgery. Yes, you were right: She is the best in terms of professionalism, and caring.
Jake, my 9 year old rescue dog, developed diabetes, and, subsequently, cataracts which deprived him of sight in both eyes. It was heart breaking to see Jake learning his way around the house, bumping his head into walls, etc. However, he managed fairly well.
I inquired through this media, I received many responses recommending Dr. Norman, and apprising me of successful experiences with surgery to restore their pets' eyesight. So, on January 14, Dr. Norman successfully performed surgery on Jake, removed the natural lenses in both eyes and implanted artificial lenses. The next day, Jake could see again, and what a difference it has made in his life, he is so happy and it shows. Oh, he has to wear a cone (aka lamp shade) for 2 or 3 weeks, and for a while we have to put ophthalmic drops in his eyes several times a day; but, it is all worth considering the happiness we brought in Jake's life.
Why did I write Jake's story? I have done it primarily as a Thank You to Dr. Norman, and to apprise any owner whose pet may have the same health problem that there is a solution, it is called Dr. Norman.
